After working for over 20 years in the music profession I have probably tried most of the widely recognised professional model trumpets on the market, always striving to find the best compatible sound, highest build quality, and the most efficient instruments available.

That search led me in 2016 to work with the Dutch maker Adams to trial and develop a trumpet that works well for me in a British orchestral and commercial setting (for me in particular the A2 custom B flat). I was so pleased with the results that I have taken up the opportunity to be their UK dealer and introduce the Adams Custom Series High Brass range to the UK market for the first time.

Now available at Fultone Brass are the Adams custom series Euphoniums, Tubas and the new Adams custom series Trombone.

Alongside Miel Adams we have been developing and redesigning the new A2 custom series classical model trumpet. Testing and developing with some of the UK’s leading B flat orchestral and commercial players. The results have been fantastic and worldwide the new A2 has become one of the most popular trumpets in the Adams custom series brass range.

We have also helped in testing the new Adams custom series E flat trumpet and are currently developing a new 4 valve E flat trumpet – watch this space.

Along with the Adams range of instruments, I have also added an intermediate range called Manchester Brass. Made in Taiwan for over 15 years they are very good quality and great value for money. View the Manchester Brass range here.
